Up for grabs is a really cool, collectible, Fender "Villager" 12 string guitar from 1969 with a valuable California-made hardshell case the previous owner said came originally with the guitar. The guitar was recently given a thorough going-over by my luthier where he glued dowls in the holes of the heel of the removable neck to enhance strength and stability, put in an improved compensated bridge piece, and shimmed the neck to get the proper angle allowing for a low, clean string action all the way up and down the neck. With a new set of strings to boot, the guitar plays really well now, and booms out the sound.

The finish is a beautiful ambered honey-maple top with a back featuring loads of finish crazing from decades of play. It also comes with the stock gold pickguard or the custom paisley pickguard shown in the main picture. All in all, a very cool and affordable vintage acoustic twelve string guitar package.
