Fully Restored Pioneer SX-750, all electrolytic capacitors across every board have been replaced with high-quality Nichicon, Panasonic, Kemet and Wima capacitors, ensuring reliable operation and extended lifespan. New warm white LED lamps provide nice glow to the vintage silverfaced receiver's dials and indicators. Every control has been meticulously cleaned with Deoxit to eliminate noise and ensure smooth, responsive operation. Amplifier board has all new transistors including two new thermally coupled differential pairs. The unit was burned in and tested to 52 watts on left channel and 55 watts on the right (see oscilloscope picture). So just over factory specifications of 50 watts after restoration!
Custom wood cabinet features the pioneer logo carved in with the air vents. The cabinet has a walnut veneer that has been stained and sealed with 5-6 coats of polyurethane to protect the finish. Brand new solid walnut cheeks adorn the faceplate that have also undergone same stain and poly treatment.
