A gorgeous McPherson MG 3.5 in the classic Redwood/Rosewood pairing — serial #2352. McPherson is one of the most respected boutique acoustic builders working today, known for a distinctive offset sound hole and cantilevered neck design (the neck floats above the top rather than being glued to it) that lets the soundboard vibrate more freely, producing exceptional projection, sustain, and tonal complexity. This is paired with McPherson's signature Overpass/Underpass bracing system, which further maximizes top vibration.

The California Redwood top brings a warm, powerful, slightly compressed voice, often compared to aged spruce, while the East Indian rosewood back and sides add depth, low-end richness, and long, ringing sustain — a pairing McPherson players consider a house classic. This example is loaded with an L.R. Baggs Element pickup system, making it stage- and studio-ready straight out of the case. The shallower 3.5" body depth (vs. the standard MG jumbo) makes it especially comfortable to play for extended sessions.

This guitar is in excellent condition, well cared for and showing minimal signs of play. Reluctantly selling due to health reasons that no longer allow me to play — this is an exceptional instrument that deserves to go to a player who can make full use of it.
