All eight pads trigger reliably, the main outs, headphone out and MIDI in and out all function, and the backlit screen is bright and clear with the internal kits loading as they should. Cosmetically it presents well for its age, with light handling marks on the gloss panel and a little dust on the base, nothing that affects use. Included is the unit and a 4GB SD card, which is blank and formatted ready for your own samples. No power adapter, cable or box, so plan on USB power, three AA batteries or your own 6V supply. The battery compartment is empty and clean inside.
