The Tascam DM-4800 is a large-format 64-channel digital mixing console, combining 48 input channels and 16 returns with 24 studio-grade mic preamps featuring phantom power. It offers deep routing flexibility with 24 busses and 12 aux sends, while built-in digital I/O includes 24 channels of TDIF and 8 channels of ADAT - with optional expansion cards adding FireWire, AES/EBU, analog, and surround monitoring capability. Every channel benefits from 4-band parametric EQ and dynamics processing (compression and gating), and two onboard TC Reverb effects processors are included. Operating at full 24-bit/96kHz resolution, the DM-4800 also features a dedicated DAW control layer compatible with Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase, Nuendo, SONAR, and Digital Performer, making it a serious centrepiece for professional studio and post-production environments.
