The Beck signature model is not a cosmetic artist edition. It is a genuinely different Stratocaster, built around the specific set of problems Beck had with a standard Strat, and the parts list reflects that:

• Hot Noiseless pickups. Three of them, higher output than standard Noiseless, and dead quiet. No 60-cycle hum under stage lighting, no buzz when you turn toward the amp, and they still clean up like single coils because that is what they are.
• LSR roller nut. The reason this guitar holds tune through the aggressive whammy work the model exists for. Strings roll through the nut instead of binding in it.
• Two-point synchronized tremolo. Smooth, and it returns to pitch.
• Thick "C" soft-V neck profile in maple with a rosewood fingerboard and a 9.5" radius. Substantial in the hand, not a thin shredder neck.
• Locking tuners and a contoured heel for upper-fret access.

Surf Green over alder with a parchment pickguard and aged white knobs. It is the best-looking finish this model came in and it photographs even better in person.
