For sale is a B-stock lefty / left handed Fender American Pro I ‘63 P Bass neck with rosewood fretboard in excellent condition. I’m calling this B-stock for two reasons:
1) It originally came as part of a frankenstein bass of sorts from Fender. I bought it new from Dave’s Guitar, but it was attached to a Jazz Bass body. my assumption is they were the last of the runs of the American Pro I and were sold that way to sell through inventory.
2) The tuners, string tree and nut don’t line up exactly, causing a slightly angled string path from the nut to tuners. This hasn’t affected playability in my experience and seems to be cosmetic.
It hasn‘t been used much at all, and the frets are in great shape.
Reach out with questions.
