Beautiful early Gibson ES-345 Sunburst in very good condition.
Factory Order Number S 608 26, consistent with 1959 production. Two Patent Applied For (PAF) labelled humbuckers, original Varitone/stereo electronics and period gold Kluson tuners. No known major repairs.
The guitar has been in our family for around 20 years. My father bought it personally from Halkan in Stockholm, who told him it had previously come from Waideles music shop in Gothenburg.
Full disclosure: the serial number on the original Gibson label had already been scratched/removed before my father's purchase. The reason is unknown. The internal FON remains clearly visible and documented.
A wonderful playing and sounding instrument, exceptionally rich in overtones.
