In the shop on consignment: Date stamped September 25th, 1970 Ludwig Superclassic 3 piece shell pack in good condition. The sizes are 9x13, 16x16, and 14x22. It has 3-ply shells with maple re-rings. No mods. No extra holes. The shells are solid and have good edges. The kit is super clean. No rust but there is light scattered pitting. All of the hoops (toms and bass drum) are original. Half of the tension rods on the rack tom and floor tom are not original. Both toms have working internal mufflers. One bass drum spur isn't original (slightly longer from a 24"). The silver sparkle wrap has faded into a ginger ale color and is somewhat cloudy but is still shiny. There is some very minor seam lift. The bass drum hoops are missing the inlays. The heads on all of the drums are worn but still playable. Overall a very solid player's kit. It could be played as-is or it would also make a great re-wrap candidate given how nice the shells and hardware are. More pictures and info available on request.
