Avid Pro Tools Dock EUCON control surface with an approximately 40-foot custom remote-room Ethernet, power and audio loom.

The Dock combines Avid Control’s touchscreen interface with tactile studio controls derived from Avid’s larger S6 workflows. It provides a touch-sensitive motorized focus fader, eight push-top touch-sensitive encoders, a dedicated monitor encoder, weighted jog wheel, transport controls, programmable touch strips, Soft Keys and dedicated automation controls. It communicates with the workstation through Ethernet using EuControl and supports Pro Tools and other EUCON-enabled applications, including Logic Pro.

I used this Dock with Logic Pro X. The Dock and custom loom worked properly in my setup.

The included loom allowed me to operate the Dock in a separate room from the DAW and audio interface. Its approximately 40-foot sleeved run carries:

• Ethernet for the Dock’s EUCON connection
• A DC power-extension path for the Dock
• One XLR audio line
• Two stereo audio paths suitable for carrying headphone-monitor feeds
• The breakout leads and connector adapters shown in the photos

The audio lines are independent pass-through connections. The Dock itself does not carry or amplify audio, so headphone use requires the appropriate output or headphone-amplification equipment at the DAW end.

Condition is Very Good. The Dock shows very little cosmetic wear and presents cleanly. Please inspect the photos for its exact condition. The custom loom is owner-made and shows its practical studio construction, including sleeving, tape, labels and breakout adapters. It worked well for my remote-room setup.

A compatible tablet or mobile device running Avid Control is required for the full touchscreen workflow. Buyers should confirm compatibility among their tablet, operating system, EuControl version and DAW.
