For sale is an original 1976 Ibanez Wau Fuzz, a killer piece of vintage Japanese fuzz history.
The fuzz is raw, aggressive, and full of character, with the gritty, saturated texture these early Ibanez fuzz circuits are known for. It can get thick and sustaining but also has that raspy, splatty edge that works especially well for psychedelic, garage, and classic rock tones.
The pedal is in good vintage condition for its age and shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with a nearly 50-year-old pedal.
A great option for players looking for a genuine vintage Japanese fuzz rather than a modern recreation, and an increasingly difficult pedal to find from this era.
Made in Japan, 1976.
