Universal Audio 6176 channel strip combining the 610B tube microphone preamp and EQ with an 1176LN-style FET compressor.
Manufactured April 2007, serial no. 4201. An early U.S.-made example from the first several years of 6176 production.
Recently tested with a condenser microphone through the 6176 into a Focusrite Scarlett interface and Logic. The microphone preamp, compressor bypass and compressor at 4:1 operated normally. The Join/Split switch allows the preamp and compressor to be used together or as separate processors.

Bought it used in 2016. I made one album with it and used it occasionally before and since. Otherwise, it has basked in the dulcet hues of my studio, on standby for its next session.
