Excellent sounding 1970 (maybe early 71?)Dual Showman Reverb, recently gone through by Chris Barnett Electronics ($330 servicing). This amp has been converted to a blackface twin reverb AB763 circuit. Has a fresh quad of JJ 6L6GC’s and a mix of new production preamp tubes. Original reverb tank (bag is a mojotone replacement), all transformers original. Power supply caps and most bypass caps have been recently replaced, as well as a handful of out of spec resistors and the phase inverter tube socket. Grill cloth is a replacement, as is the back panel, a lot of the knobs, the tube shields, and the fender emblem. 3 prong cord has been installed. has nice rubber feet on the bottom (good for clearing the handle on a speaker cab). This amp sounds huge but isn’t as heavy to lug as a twin.
