For sale I have this rare seamless steel snare drum from Tama. I have replaced the stock snare butt plate ith a new Indy universal. I have included a screenshot from two different Tama catalogs. One was for the Japan market only. It looks like this model was sold with die cast hoops and roller strainer in the states, but with triple flanged mighty hoops and regular cam strainer in Japan. For nearly 40 years old this is in excellent condition. There are some scratches and some surface rust on some of the tension rods and washers. I have put a new batter head (maybe 15-20 minutes of played time since) on the top. Snare side head and puresound wires have a lot of life left as well.

This drum is loud and it can be challenging to reign in all the overtones, but if you use thicker heads, especially heads with muffling, you can tame it to your liking. I tend to play wide open, but to each their own. Flat rate shipping to lower 48. I will consider shipping to other destinations. Send me a message for a quote. Enjoy!
