fender American vintage 50's wildwood nitro "Thin skin" roasted maple neck telecaster In excellent condition with a couple modifications.

1. Seymour Duncan antiquity II tele pickups. Original twisted tele pups are included in the case.
2. Gotoh compensated brass saddles. Original barrel saddles included in the case.
3. Flat input jack plate for use with angled cables. Original recessed jack included in the case.
4. neck finish has been lightly sanded on back. Incredibly smooth feel!

5. I was Shocked to discover a large upc sticker under the neck finish in the neck pocket. I had to sand the base of the neck to remove the sticker and flatten the contact between body and neck. The resonance of the instrument was drastically increased.
6. Even more shocking was the giant upc sticker on the underside of the bridge. Wtf fender? Removed this sticker and the instrument came alive. The two hidden upc stickers could not have been placed in worse locations.
7. Neck pickup rout slightly enlarged to fit stray neck pup. sounded great but I didn't have a good match w the Duncan bridge pup So I put the tele neck pup back in.

The finish has started to wear a little where my arm rested. A few scratches and dings as you would expect on a thin skin nitro finnish. That's the point though! A little buckle rash on the back but not bad. Never gigged, just home play and a few jams.

overall this is an awesome instrument that sounds great!
