Special Martin Custom Shop reproduction via Willcutt Guitars. Full style 45 adornment with a spectacular 1902 Tree of Life fingerboard inlay.. The bridge is micarta since ivory is no longer legal and the pick guard is a celluloid plastic instead of tortoise shell for the same reason. The fingerboard inlays are true abalone while the pick guard's are artificial (not that you'd notice if you're not a guitar tech.) It plays beautifully with a different tonality than more modern guitars but then that's part of its charm. Great for finger style with its wider neck though I like flat picking it as well. Absolutely gorgeous and a tribute to what the Martin Custom Shop does best. Thanks for looking. Message me via Reverb with any questions.
