Exceptional 2019 Gibson Custom Shop ES-335 – Antique Viking Red, Light Aged
Straight from my personal collection, I’m offering this truly exceptional Gibson Custom Shop ES-335 from 2019, finished in the absolutely beautiful Antique Viking Red with a tasteful Light Aged treatment.
Not only does this guitar look incredibly authentic, with all the character and vibe of a well-preserved vintage ES-335, but it is also an absolute standout when it comes to sound.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to play and own quite a few original vintage Gibson ES-335s, as well as numerous Custom Shop examples. This particular guitar is genuinely one of the very best ES-335s I have ever had in my hands. It has that special combination of tone, response and feel that you simply don’t find in every guitar — even at this level.
Nevertheless, I have decided to gradually part with my collection, which is the only reason why this wonderful guitar is now being offered for sale.
Apart from the intentional factory aging by the Gibson Custom Shop, the guitar is in virtually mint condition.
The guitar weighs 3.7 kg and has a medium neck profile, with a depth of approximately 0.845 inches at the 1st fret and 0.945 inches at the 12th fret.
It comes in its original Gibson hard case with all original documents and case candy.
A truly outstanding ES-335 — beautiful, authentic, and above all, an exceptional sounding and playing instrument.
