It's described by David Rolo as a fuzzy overdrive, an altered harmonic percolator with multiple clipping modes and an oscillating feedback footswitch that engages the left section
I didn't always use it for the self-oscillating...but I loved dimeing everything, which causes intense clipping (mostly from how much bass you add in there to really pump the signal), and it created a louder-than-life, compressed wall of sound that was just beautiful to play.
Demos aren't that good on the youtubes. Backing off the bass, bringing the gain down, and disengaging the clipping brings you back to this incredibly creamy and cutthroat overdrive. Just an amazing circuit.
