Magnasync Moviola Model 2300-R Displacement Recorder, sn 11833
This is a Magnasync/Moviola 16mm 2300-R, used to record and playback sprocketed 16mm wide audio tape. The systems were designed to synchronize audio in film editing and dubbing.
Mounted in a custom built formica covered plywood cabinet, and was part of a film editing and transfer studio. The recorder has been packed and stored in a climate controlled space, it has not had any recent use, and will probably need lubrication.
The cabinet is 31"x20x12" deep, in good condition overall.
A 1200 foot reel of NOS 3M 16mm stock is included, not pictured.
