A genuinely well-sorted example of one of Denon's finest CD players, fully serviced and ready for another decade of listening.

Service work completed:

• Tray drive belt replaced
• Tray gear replaced with quality reproduction part (the known failure point on this model — proper replacement, not a 3D print)
• Laser assembly cleaned; magnetic sled rails cleaned and lightly lubricated
• Laser calibration verified — adjustments were minimal, indicating a laser in good health rather than one being pushed to compensate for deterioration
• Full functional test completed, over 48 hours of continuous random playback.

Condition:
Excellent working order. Cosmetically very good with the exception of some light paint scratches on the top lid, which are visible in photos. Transport, controls, display, and both analog and digital outputs all perform flawlessly.

Why this machine:
The DCD-2560 uses four AD1862 20-bit DACs in Denon's Lambda push-pull configuration, hand-trimmed at the factory, with a linear motor direct-drive laser sled. It's a serious transport and DAC in one package, and a complete, serviced example with original box is increasingly hard to find.
