This specific model features the iconic gold "The Gibson Guitar Company U.S.A." script on the lid and a spacious, un-contoured "open cavity" red plush interior, which originally came with the Gibson Sonex-180 series but perfectly fits most vintage Les Pauls, SGs.

Hardware & Functionality:

• Left & Right Latches: 100% original period-correct flip latches manufactured by the famous Excelsiorfactory in Stamford, Connecticut. They are clearly stamped with "U.S.A. EXCELSIOR STAMFORD CONN." and are fully functional.
• Center Latch: 100% original and works exactly as it should.
• Handle: Original factory handle, sturdy, and in solid working condition.
• Note on Hardware: There is some visible rust, tarnishing, and oxidation on the metal latches and hinges due to age (as shown in the photos), but everything operates smoothly and locks securely.

Exterior & Interior Condition:
