The Pearl OptiMount Suspension System (OPTN-0708) is a premium tom mounting system designed to maximize shell resonance by suspending the drum from its tension rods rather than mounting directly to the shell. This allows the drum to vibrate more freely, producing enhanced sustain, resonance, and overall tone while maintaining exceptional stability.
This model has been discontinued by Pearl, making it an excellent opportunity to pick up a genuine OEM replacement or spare for compatible Pearl drum kits.
This OptiMount is brand new and has never been installed or used. It is being sold as open box because the packaging has been opened for inspection and photography. The original box, instructions, hardware, and Allen key are all included.
Please note: The factory protective sticker/film on the OptiMount is beginning to lift/peel slightly, as shown in the photos. This is only the removable protective film and does not affect the chrome finish or functionality of the mount.
