Up for sale is a super cool 1930s National Triolian single-cone resonator. We actually bought this one directly from the original owner’s son, so it’s fresh to the market and has great provenance.
This one has the classic Hawaiian island scene painted on the body.
Details & Condition:
Neck: Original neck. The guitar has a fairly high action which is pretty typical for these old Nationals. As it sits, it’s absolute magic for slide, though you can still fret it down in the open/lower positions. The guitar could use a neck reset if you want to play it with low action.
Body/Finish: Overall solid condition for a 90-year-old instrument. It’s got its share of honest bumps, scratches, and wear around the edges from use, but the island artwork still looks awesome and holds plenty of vintage mojo.
Tone: Classic pre-war National bark—loud, dry, and cuts right through.
Included:
Original hardshell case (shows its age on the outside, but all latches function and it protects the guitar just fine).
Will be packed with extreme care and shipped fully insured (we’ll make sure the bridge/cone is properly safe for transit). Feel free to message me if you have any questions or need to see additional pictures of anything specific. Thanks for looking!
