An estate find of one the best Irish flutes ever. There are tight cracks in the lined headjoint and the lined barrel. The flute sounds at 440 with the tuning barrel pulled out slightly. The articulated pewter plugs work smoothly as do all of the other salt spoon silver keys. Missing the bottom silver ring on the foot and unfortunately the case no longer exists. In need of careful restoration by your favorite wooden flute whisperer. See the maker's stamp on the foot, I don't find marks anywhere else.

In response to an inquiry, I looked more closely at the right hand "crack" and it appears to be a scratch that does not go thru the wood (see last pics).
