Up for sale is an ADA MP-1 MIDI Tube Guitar Preamp in good used condition.

This is a heavily modified unit, and I am describing it as accurately as possible based on the condition I received it in, information from the previous owner, and current functionality.

According to the previous owner, this unit had the 3.666 mod, noise reduction mod, and battery mod performed approximately 10 years ago. I am not personally able to fully verify every detail of the modifications, so they are described here based on the information provided to me.

At some point, an additional step-down transformer was added so the unit could be used in Europe. That has since been reversed, and the unit is currently back to its original 120V power supply configuration.

There is a protection fuse installed in place of the phantom power connection. Please see the rear-panel photos for details.

The level knob in the effects loop section is missing, but the effects loop is working great and operates at 100% mix.

A pair of JJ tubes were installed not long ago, and the internal battery is also fresh.

The preamp has been fully refurbished by a professional technician and is working well. MIDI works, the output level works, both outputs work, the headphone output works, and all front-panel buttons function properly.

This unit has no known issues.
