This is one of my small models. The ML model (sn 088) which is loosely based on a Jumbo model reduced in size. This particular ML has a Western Red Cedar top and Curly Claro Walnut back and sides. A sweet sounding instrument that responds very well to fingerpicking as well as flatpicking and strumming. The Cedar top has a played in sound with noticeable warmth and responsiveness that is immediately apparent. The Claro Walnut back and sides add a strong midrange and defined bottom end that is unusual for a small bodied instrument.
This deluxe model includes a bound fretboard and headstock, abalone rosette, Cocobola fretboard and bridge as well as a Brazilian rosewood headplate on the headstock. Abalone inlays on the fretboard and a hand cut abalone "H" on the headplate.
