This flute is a vintage (pre-1990s) Armstrong 303 intermediate model in overall nice condition. This flute features a sterling silver headjoint paired with silver plated body, foot and keys. The keywork is French open hole with Y arms, inline G and B foot (no gizmo but one could be added by your local technician). This flute was recently serviced including replacement of the headjoint cork, adjusting/replacing pads and corks as needed and a light cleaning/polishing. This flute plays great throughout all registers and offers a sweet yet crisp tone these vintage Armstrongs were known for. The embouchure cut is round yet crisp (no overcutting) allowing flexibility throughout all registers. This flute was hardly used with no dents nor plating wear and only light signs of normal use. The pads are older but are in good shape and function fine. There is a small blemish on the D# key touch that is cosmetic only - see photo. Also included is the original case in great condition. This flute is a great, American-made upgrade option from the times when quality surpassed quantity. This flute is in lovely condition and is ready to play!
