Here's a 2007 Fender Artist Series Joe Strummer Signature Telecaster, built in 2007 in Ensenada, Mexico (Made in Mexico / MIM), an exact replica of Strummer's legendary 1966 Telecaster. The model features an extreme, factory-applied "Custom Road Worn" relic finish that faithfully replicates the three layers of paint on the original (sunburst, gray primer, and black topcoat). The finish on the edges/sides is, as is typical, only glued and, unfortunately, is peeling in a few places, also as is typical!
