From the markings and writing and stamping on this bass, I believe this is a one of a kind. I believe that the neck is from a Mustang (factory markings). The web site “Vintageand rare” they say the red markings on the neck “04” indicates Mustang. I know for a fact that it has been laying in the case for over 25 years. I never saw anyone playing it. The owner passed and it needs to be sold. The case is a mess. It is falling apart, latches broken, it is actually too large for the bass and some foam has been put into make it fit better. Some staining on the back near the neck. A few nicks and dings. Typical for an instrument this old. Neck is really straight and frets look almost new. The tuners work well. Chrome is nice. Pick guard is broken at the end near the input jack. Overall, this is a good working mans / womans bass as well as being a nice piece of vintage Fender. I am happy to answer any and all questions that you might have about this instrument, thru Reverb. I guess that's it. Please take me home and put some miles on me.
