This vintage Vega A-Style mandolin features a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides and a set mahogany neck. It plays great with low action and the frets are in nice shape with light wear. There are chips, dings, and scratches throughout. Please see our inspection notes below for a better understanding of the overall condition.
- One of the D string tuner gears has a tendency to slip when tuning. It still works with some extra effort (realigning the gear with the spindle), making restrings a bit more of a chore. Fine tuning once it has been initially tuned to pitch works normally.
- The bridge has wood missing between the pairs of E and A string slots.
- Come with the original hard shell case in very good condition.
