Gretsch Vintage Early 1980s Square Badge 12x14 (14 Diameter) Tom Jasper Shell 100% Original Except Heads White Nitron

Beautiful vintage 14 inch tom from the golden era of Gretsch drums…..the 80s! Factory drum except for replaced heads. All tension rods, washers etc are all original. Phil Collins would definitely approve.

Some extremely minor cosmetic wear on wrap and chrome (see pics) but overall extra nice. The worst wrap spot is under the mount which is common from the memory locks. if you really hunt you may find some light scratches and marks but it is extremely clean overall. The wrap has faded slightly to that beautiful creamy white. Not overly yellow, and very even. Edges are original and in great shape. No extra holes or modification. Bottom edge has one little spot where the wrap has pulled from the shell about 1/4 inch—see pic….its splitting hairs to even mention it. Even has the head combo that this era of drums is famous for. I also have some other drums listed that were born with this drum in other listings so check those out as well. This could make a cool floor tom if you flip it over and add a couple more leg mounts. The way the badge is centered allows for that option. Could remove the muffler or add another! Or just leave it as is and hang it!
