I bought this at a Guitar Center in 2008 to add a humbucking guitar to my collection, plus I’ve always coveted a Les Paul and couldn't pass up this Custom Shop R8. It turns out I'm more of a single coil or a FilterTron player so I haven't played it much over the years and it’s never left the studio, but there's no question this is a classic Les Paul with that fat 58 neck and sustain forever. It weighs in at a lean 8.4 Lbs. I replaced the strap pins with Dunlop Strap Lock strap pins which go with Dunlop Strap Locks, but can be used as plain strap pins if you don't have Dunlop Strap Locks on your strap. You will find the stock strap pins are in hard shell case along with the Certificate of Authenticity and original tags and literature.

I also added a Bigby for a short time (please see photo) and I'm including that in the sale as well. The B7 Bigsby goes for around $200 new. The Bigsby is not on the the guitar currently and appeares to have left a small impression on the finish just below the bridge. Please see the photo. Other than that, it has the usual few small nicks around the heard stock but no buckle marks on the back. it is set up to perfection and ready to go to work.
