Fender American Elite Telecaster Thinline Natural 2017

The Fender "American Elite" series is a 2016 renewal of the "American Deluxe" series, which had been the flagship of the regular lineup for many years. As the pinnacle of modern style, it has gained immense popularity as the ultimate instrument that pursues playability and functionality.

We have received a 2017 "American Elite Telecaster Thinline" in a natural finish, weighing 2.64kg.

It features an ash body with a semi-hollow construction, and combines cutting-edge technology with traditional style, offering a wide range of tones unique to the Thinline model.
The 4th generation Fender noiseless pickups are voiced to suit each position, achieving the powerful cutting Fender tone you would expect for this model. Additionally, a push-type Fender original "S-1" switch is incorporated into the volume knob. Turning this switch on enables complex pickup combinations that cannot be obtained with normal wiring (such running all 3 pickups simultaneously).

With a compound a radius, the neck begins as a U-shape near the headstock, gradually transitioning to a D-shape towards the higher frets. The smooth satin finish, medium jumbo frets, and asymmetrical neck heel further enhance playability.

The hardware is also user-friendly, with six short locking tuners, a newly designed string guide, a light-torque volume pot, and control knobs with rubber grips.

It boasts an outstanding modern sound that carries on the legacy of the American Deluxe. Best of all, it's incredibly lightweight at 2.64kg. It's less tiring to play standing up, easy to transport, and significantly reduces strain on the shoulder compared to other guitars. It's designed for ease of playability with excellent balance.

The current "Fender American Vintage II 1972 Telecaster Thinline" is a series that reproduces vintage models, so there are considerable differences in specifications. This is not a difference in instrument quality, but rather a matter of sound and specification preference, so some people may find this one more convenient and easier to use. Because the Elite was only sold for a short time, not many people know about it, so this Thinline model is quite a good find.
The stripped-down, natural color is also great, and it's highly recommended for guitarists who have never played a Thinline before!

When examining a truss rod on a straight neck, we check that it can turn up to about 45 degrees in both directions. When we say the truss rod can be adjusted, we mean it can be adjusted up to 45 degrees. Anything beyond that risks damaging the instrument.
