CROWN DCi 4|300 DRIVECORE INSTALL FOUR-CHANNEL POWER AMPLIFIER

300 watts per channel into 4 or 8 ohms, on all four channels, from a single 2U rack space.

That is a lot of usable power in one box. Run tops and subs on separate channels for a DJ rig, bridge channel pairs for more output on a subwoofer, or use it as the backbone of a whole-home setup with a different room on every channel. Each channel switches independently between low impedance and 70V or 100V constant voltage, so you can run a pair of bookshelf speakers off one channel and a long distributed line off the next. Direct drive constant voltage means no step-up transformer at the output, which keeps the signal cleaner and lets you pull long runs with smaller gauge wire. There is also a remote on/off interface if you want it tied into a control system. Crown builds these to run hard all day, so there is plenty left over for weekend gigs and living room duty.
