Slingerland Radio King 1940's/1950's era bass drum clamp on mount with a pair of short bent legs. The steel bent leg looks to be a Slingerland. The other leg is aluminum along with an aluminum mount that I've seen a number of times on late 40's to early 50's RK bass drums. Not sure who sold them. But they worked well and were light. I graded them fair the 2 threaded screws won't back out all the way. At least you can't lose them.

The aluminum mount with green felts on the clamping faces goes on/off and tightens up fine. However the thumb screw runs into resistance once loosened up a few turns and resists backing out. I didn't risk forcing it and stripping it. Though I did oil it up, soaked it in Dawn, and was not able to free it. At least it does work as is. It came off a working 1946 Radio King bass drum. I suspect it was a 1950's replacement when a Slingerland mount failed or was lost.

The wing bolt that tightens up the leg has bent ears and also won't back out all the way......but applies tension fine. The bent legs measure 11-1/4" from top to bottom in a straight direction. The steel (thinner) one is 5/16" diameter. The aluminum leg is 3/8" diameter. I've been keeping an eye out for this style mount and the bent legs for the past 5 yrs looking to buy another. They very rarely show up and far scarcer than the standard Slingerland steel clamp.
