Overview

Spotted on an old Reverb listing in Feb 2022, there's not a lot of history to go with this model yet. I assumed (as did the original owner) that it was a maple shell, but later research shows it to be the Cherry & Maple model. It's finished in what looks like Gloss Natural lacquer - at least that's the closest I can see in the catalogues.

The Premium Series badge would suggest a construction date of around 2003-2007. If you know different, or have any other information on this model, feel free to chime in!

Spotted a Black Panther in a video from Dylan Joel Smith that I didn't recognise, and after a bit of Q&A it turned out to be this model! According to Dylan it was another giveaway snare with ProM kits, which would make sense as there's another 13"x6" Cherry & Maple that was a ProM giveaway. Going by the date sticker in the shell, this model was produced in mid-2007 which would suggest that it was made for a giveaway in 2008. Still trying to track down any documentation to confirm that though; watch this space!
