This beautiful instrument is in mint condition. I bought it in March 2023 and had it professionally modified and pro set up by Brian at Sacramento Guitar Repair who in my opinion is the best guitar tech in Sacramento. Brian installed a Seymour Duncan SH-2 pick up in the neck position. I love these pick ups because placed in the neck position you get a great jazz and blues tone on what is traditionally thought of as a rock/country guitar. I even had Brian replace the middle pick up cover, which was originally white to black to conform to the rest of the colors of the which are chrome, black and sunburst. For those that don't know, Fender added a middle pick up on the Nashville model so when in the switched position makes the guitar sound very much like a Stratocaster. It really is amazing the different tones that you can get out of this guitar. Best of all worlds! Brian did an outstanding job. So here's what I have into the guitar which was new when I bought it:
Guitar plus tax: $1196
Seymour Duncan pick up: $141
Sacramento Guitar repair
Installation and pro set up: $175
Fender gig bag, like new: $87
D'Addario Chrome Flatwounds: $22
Replace middle pick up cover to black $25
Total: $1646
It's easy to Google all the details on this Guitar so I won't bore you with all that but one thing I do really love about this Guitar is the locking tuners. They are so precise and this Guitar just never goes out of tune. 2023 was the first year that Fender came up with the innovative idea of adding an additional middle pick up, which gives the telecaster a real Stratocaster tone and vibe. I know that there are a lot of Chinese made fake Telecasters floating around out there but this is NOT one. I've had four telecaster's over the years and this one is my favorite by far. I'm only selling because I'm 73 now and starting to get quite a bit of arthritis in my hands and I just can't play like I used to. I'm selling a lot of musical equipment just for that reason. I never actually performed on stage with this Guitar because I've been playing bass the last two years in my band. But we broke up at the end of May and I think I'm kind of done with the band thing. At the price I'm asking that's $450 less than what I have invested into it. So you basically get this for what I originally paid for it and all my improvements for free. Feel free to DM me for additional information or questions. Thank you for looking!
