A fantastic example of one of the most iconic Greco signature models ever produced. Built in Japan during the highly regarded Super Real era, the EG600PR was inspired by Ace Frehley's famous three-pickup Les Paul Custom and combines outstanding craftsmanship with classic late-'70s/early-'80s Japanese quality.
Finished in a beautiful Cherry Sunburst over a maple top with an ebony fingerboard, this guitar delivers the unmistakable vintage Japanese feel that made Greco one of the finest Gibson-style builders of the era.
According to the 1980 Greco catalogue, the EG600PR was factory-equipped with three original Maxon U-1000 humbuckers, delivering the warm, articulate and dynamic tone that made these vintage Maxon pickups so highly regarded among collectors and players alike.

Condition
The guitar is in very good vintage condition.
At some point in its life, the finish developed the common lacquer checking along the back of the neck. These areas have since been professionally repaired, while the lacquer around the fingerboard-to-neck transition has been carefully refinished. The repair is clean, stable and blends in very well, preserving the guitar's vintage character while presenting beautifully.
Apart from normal signs of use expected from a 45-year-old instrument, the guitar remains in excellent playing condition.
Everything works exactly as it should. The neck is straight, the truss rod functions correctly, the frets have plenty of life remaining, and the guitar has been professionally inspected and freshly set up.
A rare opportunity to own one of Greco's most desirable Ace Frehley models from the legendary Super Real period.
