Up for sale is my late-70s Fender Deluxe Reverb that has been professionally upgraded over the years into an excellent player’s amp. This thing rips! Selling because I’d like to go the 5e3 route instead.
Upgrades and maintenance include:
• Mercury Magnetics output transformer
• Weber Ferromax 12” speaker
• Filter caps replaced
• Additional maintenance and replacement components as shown in the photos
Cosmetically, the amp has been converted to a blackface appearance with black grille cloth and blackface faceplate. It looks fantastic while retaining the classic Deluxe Reverb sound.
Reverb works beautifully.
Please note: the tremolo is currently not functioning correctly. It produces a rhythmic popping instead of the normal tremolo effect. I have never had it repaired but am told it’s an easy fix.
The amp has tons of clean head room and has great breakup with volume around 7 or so.
Included is a newer foot-switch.
