PreSonus Studio 1824c — 18x20 USB-C Audio/MIDI Interface

PreSonus built its reputation on high-channel-count interfaces, and the

1824c is the one that let a home studio track a full band at once. Eight

XMAX Class A mic preamps running on 30V rails, 24-bit/192 kHz conversion,

ADAT and S/PDIF I/O for eight more channels, MIDI In/Out, word clock out,

two headphone outputs with independent level control, and an onboard DSP

monitor mixer for four near-zero-latency cue mixes. Ten LED ladder meters

across the front so you can see every input at a glance. 1U rackmount.

FULLY TESTED — All eight XMAX preamps, +48V phantom power, ADAT I/O,

S/PDIF, MIDI In/Out, both headphone outputs, main outs, and all eight TRS

line outputs were verified working before listing. Powers up and passes

audio on every channel.

CONDITION — Very Good. Fully functional, cosmetically clean, with two

marks worth calling out (both shown in photos):

- Light scratches on the top panel just right of the PreSonus logo.

Surface only, does not reach bare metal.

- A faint line along the top rear edge of the chassis. Top plate only —

rack ears are straight, the unit racks and seats normally, and nothing

internal or functional is affected.

Front panel, knobs, jacks, meters, and rack ears are clean. Photographed

in direct light so you can see exactly what you're getting.

INCLUDED: Interface, original 12V power supply, original USB-C to USB-A

cable, original box and inserts.

CABLE NOTE: This unit shipped new with two cables — USB-C to USB-C and

USB-C to USB-A. Only the USB-C to USB-A cable is included here. If your

computer has USB-C ports only, you will need a USB-C to USB-C cable or an

adapter.

SOFTWARE NOTE: The Studio One Artist license that came with this unit is

already registered to my PreSonus account and is not transferable (PreSonus own policies).

You are buying the hardware only. Universal Control / UC Surface is a free

download from PreSonus and works fully with this unit.

Home studio use only, never gigged or road-cased. Stored in a

climate-controlled, non-smoking home.

Ships double-boxed in the original packaging with the power supply

secured separately.
