Stunning Vintage 1940s 1950s Francini 120-Bass Piano Accordion in Ruby Red & Ivory / Cream Pearloid / Mother of Pearl - Made in Italy
Overview:
Up for sale is a breathtaking, mid-century Francini 120-bass piano accordion. Manufactured in Italy during the golden era of accordion production, this instrument features a striking, high-gloss Ruby Red and Ivory Cream pearloid finish that is in near-flawless cosmetic shape. Unlike most instruments of this era, the celluloid wrap is incredibly well-preserved with vibrant colors and minimal to no signs of wear.
Specifications:
- Bass Layout: 120-Bass Stradella system (indented "C" bass)
- Treble Keys: 41 keys (compact layout, perfect for agile playing and comfortable weight)
- Registers: Multiple treble register switches for versatile voicing changes
- Origin: Made in Italy
Cosmetic & Functional Notes:
- Exterior: Near-mint condition. The keys, body, bellows straps, and finish look beautiful. No major scratches, cracks, or discoloration.
- Bellows: The bellows appear visually clean with good compression.
- Playability: This is a vintage estate find. I am not an accordion player, but I did a basic test to ensure it works. All keys and bass buttons depress and spring back smoothly without sticking.
- The Case: Includes the original vintage velvet-lined hard case. Please note: While the case is structurally sound and protected the instrument for decades, it does have a typical musty/vintage storage odor from age. The accordion itself has been aired out.
Shipping:
Will be packed with extreme care, with extra padding inside a heavy-duty box to ensure safe transit. Tracking and insurance included.
