And, as you’d expect from Revv, both channels deliver punishing levels of gain. Per-channel 3-channel EQs eliminate tonal compromises when switching between clean, crunch, and high-gain tones. Global Wide, Drive, and Aggression switches put a myriad of saturated textures at your disposal. Bright switches add extra bite and presence when it’s called for, while midrange-sculpting Cut switches allow you to toggle between a bright, biting sound and a deeper, scooped-style distortion on the overdrive channels. You also get a Fat switch on both drive channels to thicken your high-gain tones. Power scaling facilitates muscular tones at bedroom-friendly levels, while a serial effects loop accommodates your pedals and other processors. A configurable and bypassable digital reverb and noise gate yield a polished, studio-quality result. The Generator 120 MKIII plays well with a variety of cabinets, too, thanks to a switchable 4-/8-/16-ohm speaker jack.
