Vintage Fender Telecaster Custom in Blonde finish made in 1978 with Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar features a solid ash body, maple neck and maple fingerboard. Equipped with its original Fender CuNiFe Wide Range Humbucker dating to 1978 in the neck position and a Fender Tele Single Coil in the bridge position. Controlled by 2 volume pots, 2 tone pots and a 3-way toggle switch comprised of two of its original CTS pots dating to the 45th week of 1976 and two upgraded Emerson pots. The 25.5" scale length neck has black dot inlays and black side markers with 21 medium jumbo frets on a 7.25" radius with a medium "C" profile. The hardware is comprised of chrome Fender F-Stamp tuning machines with contemporary cloche heads, a bone nut, a Fender Telecaster 6-Saddle Adjustable bridge and black top hat knobs with a 3-ply black-on-white pickguard.
This guitar is in overall very good condition. There is some dark discoloration on the lower horn, mainly around the sides and back. There are light surface marks and small dings/dents throughout. There is some discoloration on the fretboard/back of neck along with some light marks. Two of the pots were replaced at some point in its life; one of the originals is included. (See Pics)
Guitar is freshly setup and restrung with 9-42 strings. Includes Original Hard Shell Case.
