Here is a beautiful and lovingly aged example of a 1955 Gibson Southern Jumbo.

Boasting a crack free spruce top, under a perfectly executed sunburst finish with mahogany back and sides this one receives equal amounts of compliments for its visual appeal as well as its sound. Having just the right amount of play wear and no structural issues or repairs, it’s a hard 50s SJ to beat by any metrics.

Extremely comfortable medium C neck profile, good fret height with little to no wear, good angle and string height make for effortless playing up and down the neck for years to come. The only addition is the ebony piece added under the bridge plate to retain string beads better.

The K&K pure mini pickup sounds great and makes it stage ready right out of the case.
