For sale is a stunning, exceptionally clean 1966 Fender Princeton Reverb in near-mint cosmetic condition. Sporting the rare and highly collectible factory "AA764" tube chart misprint, this amp is a holy grail piece for both discerning players and vintage enthusiasts alike.

Tube Chart Stamp: "PH" (August 1966 assembly).

Tube Chart Model Typo: Features the famous factory error where Fender mistakenly printed "AA764" (the Champ schematic) instead of AA1164. The circuit itself is entirely the correct, legendary AA1164 Princeton Reverb circuit.

Chassis Serial #A13267 Stamped on the rear panel, perfectly matching the mid-1966 production block.

Cosmetically, this amplifier is in beautiful, clean MINT condition. The original black Tolex is free of ANY rips or tears, the silver-sparkle grille cloth is tight and has NO RIPS, and the faceplate looks clean and sharp.

Speaker: 100% original. Stamped with original EIA date codes (220603) matching 1966. It sounds sweet, and balanced.

I haven't pulled the chassis, but as far as I know the Power Transformer, Reverb Transformer, and Choke are all original.

The Only Mod: The Output Transformer has been replaced. Original OT is included for rebuilding.

Aside from this component change, the amp retains its vintage integrity and functions flawlessly. The tube-driven spring reverb is deep and lush, and the bias-modulated tremolo is incredibly rich and pulsing.

This amp sounds killer....push the front end a little and it jumps up and sings like crazy !!
