The Swiss Army knife of guitars!
This Blade R4 is one of the most iconic Super Strats of the 1990s, offering excellent build quality and versatility for playing any style. This guitar dates from 1990 and is therefore part of the first Blade production run by Gary Levinson, which spanned 1988 to 1992. It can be recognised by its 5-digit serial number, as those built later start from 100,000, making this a very rare and sought-after instrument, particularly in its original ‘Misty Violet’ finish. In good overall condition; it shows quite a few signs of wear from normal use over time but is in perfect working order (see photos – even the gold plating has become matt), and the VSC also works perfectly; the frets are still in good condition (7/10).
Comes with the original tremolo bar and a generic hard case.
