Epiphone FT-145 Texan believed to have been produced around 1977, professionally restored. Its sound is delightfully bright. As for its appearance, I believe that the pictures speak for themselves. The Epiphone FT-145 features a bolt-on neck and a mechanism to adjust the string height at the bridge.

It is clear that the person who owned this guitar before me loved this instrument dearly. When it first crossed my workbench, I noted only minor blemishes in the finish on the headstock and the back of the body, as well as a superficial crack along the sound hole near the base of the fretboard. I confirmed that the truss rod remains functional. The neck block had been knocked out of place, likely having fallen over at some point in its long history. The original frets had also been worn down from decades of play.

With a little love, this instrument is ready to play once more. I reset the neck block, buffed the headstock, resurfaced the fretboard, replaced the frets, carved a new bone nut and saddle, lubricated the tuning machines, adjusted the neck geometry, and set the string height. I can attest that it is now a delight to play.
