Bell & Howell Guitar Amp

Amazing converted guitar amp. Bell and Howell Filmosounds have a cult following and have long been favoured by session musicians for their tone.

Because cinema film stock carried optical audio tracks, the projectors required highly sensitive, high-quality tube amplifiers to decode and project the sound.

Used by a lot of session guys, and notably Blake Mills, these things produce a killer tone!

Enough so that Walrus audio made an effects pedal trying to emulate these.
