The AZ series, a highly popular standard model among the new generation of guitarists, has arrived.
Made in Japan and featuring Prestige-grade specifications, the pickups are directly mounted on the alder body. These are the AZ-exclusive Hyperion open-type pickups, developed in collaboration with Seymour Duncan.

To bring out the guitarfs natural characteristics, the output has been kept low. These pickups prioritize picking response and reproducibility, offer excellent balance across all strings, and work well with effects pedals.

The neck and fingerboard are crafted from S-TECH WOOD Roasted Maple, which undergoes a heat treatment to provide dimensional stability, resistance to warping, water resistance, and resilience to temperature changes. The oil finish ensures a comfortable playing feel from the very first touch.

The neck shape is thicker than typical Ibanez guitars, challenging conventional expectations, and is designed to suit any playing style.
Furthermore, the use of stainless steel frets enables stress-free, expressive bending and vibrato.

Furthermore, the side position markers use phosphorescent material, enhancing visibility on stage.

The bridge, co-developed with GOTOH?a highly regarded hardware manufacturer?features machined titanium saddles and a machined steel inertia block, resulting in a sound characterized by extended high frequencies.

The Alter Switch, essential for a wide range of tone shaping, differs from a standard coil tap. It features special wiring that taps one coil while utilizing the low-end of the other, resulting in clear high frequencies and a thick, well-defined sound.

The tuners are equipped with GOTOH Magnum Locks, and in combination with the bridge, they provide outstanding tuning stability.

Packed with every bit of Ibanezfs guitar-making expertise from A to Z, this is a model wefre proud of?one with the potential to captivate any guitarist.
