We have received a 1984 Standard Telecaster.

Alongside the Vintage series?which laid the foundation for the later American Vintage line?and the Elite series, known for its modern specifications, the Standard series debuted in 1983 during the Dan Smith era.
With a production run limited to 1983?1984, this model has become quite rare today.

It features an alder body and a one-piece maple neck, with a four-point mounting system and micro-tilt adjustment.
A major feature is the top-load bridge, which allows for individual octave adjustment for each string.

The neck pickup is original, but the bridge pickup has been replaced with a Rio Grande model (model name unknown; DC resistance approximately 8.25 kĦ).

In addition, the pickguard, switch knobs, and control knobs have been replaced, and a high-pass filter has been retrofitted to the volume pot.

The neck is in good condition, and there is plenty of adjustment range in both directions on the truss rod.
The original medium-jumbo-sized frets show little wear and retain their height well.
While it shows signs of use commensurate with its age, it is in excellent playing condition.

It comes with a non-original soft case and a lock pin.
